As part of an integrated and interdependent transmission, this derailleur is mounted around the wheel axle for a first-of-its-kind direct connection to the cassette, thanks to its innovative Hangerless Interface. This groundbreaking design fundamentally changes the relationship between the cassette and derailleur, while the Full Mount attachment method ensures a strong connection that grips both sides of the frame.
Setting up the X0 Eagle Transmission derailleur is as easy asSRAM’s Eagle AXS derailleurs, makingfor a quick and intuitiveinstall.This derailleur also boasts an overload clutch for increased resiliency and a tucked-in profile that protects the B-knuckle and outer link with fully replaceable or upgradeableprotection covers.

SRAM Eagle Transmission isnot compatiblewith previous-generation Eagle components. However, Eagle Transmission T-Type chainrings are backward compatible with Eagle chains, so they can be used on the current Eagle drivetrains.Non-T-Type Eagle chainrings will not work with Eagle Transmission chains.
