CeramicSpeed sees you SRAM Eagle users, and knows youre itching to reduce drivetrain friction. When CeramicSpeed saw the Eagle twelve-speed pulleys, they knew they could do a better job. And thats what they did, coming up with four different versions, starting from fast, going faster, faster still, and fastest. There are anodized aluminum and titanium versions, both offered with both standard CeramicSpeed bearings and coated CeramicSpeed bearings.

The wheels themselves possess fourteen teeth. The tooth pattern has a wide-narrow design that you need to align with the chain starting out, but once aligned, shifts faster and lasts longer in addition to reducing mechanical friction.

That friction reduction is, to put it mildly, huge. CeramicSpeed has tested their own pulleys versus the stock wheels, and they found their version improves efficiency by 34.4%.

The heart of the system are CeramicSpeeds standard hybrid ceramic bearing. CeramicSpeed utilizes Grade 3 Silicon Nitride balls that possess the best possible surface finish and roundness. In testing, the balls are 400% smoother, 128% harder, and 58% lighter than standard steel balls found in most bike components. Theyre more than 100% smoother and 15% harder than standard ceramic balls. The balls are installed into hardened steel races in dust-free clean rooms and then checked again before assembly is complete.

There are two options with this kit, uncoated, and coated. Uncoated is what they base most of their test data off of, so its the CeramicSpeed standard. Coated is even smoother and longer lasting, as its a metallic layer on top of the races, three microns thick and 75% harder than hardened steel races.

There are, as a result, four versions of these pulleys. The aluminum versions start with anodized pulleys in a few different colors and then either CeramicSpeeds Standard or Coated pulleys. The Titanium pulleys come with either CeramicSpeeds Standard or Coated pulleys.

The CeramicSpeed SRAM Eagle Pulleys are fast, light, durable, and smart.
